Arthur’s work chosen for closing show of Triangle Photo Festival, USA
This Halloween Arthur will showcase his work at the closing show of The Triangle Photo Festival in North Carolina, USA - having been chosen to do so by the curator, Tim Walter who said of Arthur’s work, “Put simply, your work thrills me.”
The closing show is entitled “SHVR (Shiver): Traditional and Diverging Views of Beauty, Romance and Darkness.” Arthur is one of only a handful of artists asked to exhibit for the closing and he will be eligible for a $500 audience award to be selected at the event.
Arthur will show work from: ‘A Personal View’, ‘The Muse’, ‘Raw Beauty’, ‘Pregnancy’ and his flowers - all will be projected at 10 feet by 16 feet using hi-definition projectors in a striking alternative venue (a former cold storage building) of 22,000 square feet – it promises to be a fantastic show. This year’s festival is led by Bryce Lankard, one of the founders of PhotoNOLA, and Chris Vitiello, a culture writer and curator. Denver’s Focus Show Win and The Big Picture Show
In spring 2015, Arthur has received the 1st Place prize at Focus Show at Spark Gallery, Denver, Colorado, USA. 40 artists were exhibiting.
Arthur’s work was also exhibited at The Big Picture Show in Denver, in conjunction with the Month of Photography.

August 2014: Arthur’s Lith prints have been chosen to feature in the Saatchi Galleries’ ’Celebrating Cartier-Bresson: Black and White Photography Collection’ on Saatchi Art's homepage. An online gallery of Arthur’s works is also available for viewing on the artist’s page of the Saatchi Art website.
One Hyde Park
Arthur Meehan’s seven lith prints are on display at a show apartment at One Hyde Park. The flower studies are in situ at one of the most unique real estate developments in the world, with apartment prices in the ‘tens of millions of pounds’ , the most expensive currently on sale at £75 million.
125 Live, a photographic event taking place in Shoreditch, London, will exhibit two of Arthur’s works at 28 Redchurch Street on 12-28 September 2014. All work is for sale and there will be special events, master classes, etc.
Arthur’s work showcased in £12m new build house
Arthur’s work – two nude and two flower studies – are showcased in a magnificent new built contemporary home of 12,900 sq ft in one of the most sought after areas near to London, Esher in Surrey. The home, called Bluejay is unique and totally individual. Set in one acre of grounds which historically formed part of the walled kitchen gardens of Claremont House, a royal residence used by King George III and Queen Victoria and other members of the royal family. Arthur’s images can be seen in the kitchen and lounge (see below), a video tour of the property can be viewed here.
Arthur Meehan has gained the honour of three of his pieces being showcased in the hugely prestigious Saatchi Gallery on London’s Kings Road. The exhibition features photograph’s work from around the world and is on a revolving screen, level 2.
Black & White Magazine
Black & White Magazine - the ultimate resource for connoisseurs and collectors of black and white fine-art photography holds a number of competitions and Arthur has earned the honour of its Spotlight Award: his work and an interview about him is featured in the December 2013 issue which hit news stands globally on the October 10th, 2013.
’Raw Beauty’ Exhibition in Netherlands
Arthur is pleased to announce a new exhibition of his nudes at Gallery 1 in Arnhem, The Netherlands for the months of October and November 2013. The exhibition entitled ‘Raw Beauty’ showcases some never seen work. Arthur has once again created these pieces using his old Polaroid 195 land camera and black and white Polaroid film, using long exposures and then hand finishing. There are 20 works in the exhibition and they are available in sizes 20 x 16 and 20 x 24. The gallery will also feature the limited edition special collector’s books of Arthur’s work: his flower studies entitled ‘Rustle’ and his nudes entitled 'Secludere’.
