Stormy Weather
Arthur’s umbrella series ‘Stormy Weather’ was some time in gestation but began when he was hired a couple of years ago to photograph some rainy weather photos for a company called London Fog. Later, he was shooting in New York City in a large loft off 14th street and Union square, 8 floors up - Arthur says: "I noticed the amazing shapes that were created by umbrellas. I loved the perspective from being above them and looking down. After that I just became fascinated by the abstract potential of umbrellas and weather. Now I venture out in stormy weather to search high and low for that perfect image."
